New iPhone App Rcrdr

I’m a fan of Dieter Rams who heavily influenced Apples Jonathan Ives design of the classic iPod and Macs. Dieter is famous for his industrial design work at Braun and for his 10 classic design principles. I’ve taken these and used them to create a new Threshold based Audio Recorder “Rcrdr”. Here’s some images of the new app and some of the Dieter Rams work that inspired it. Here’s a link to Dieter Rams Wikipedia entry.

Love the app however a small bug when trying to edit description I lose the done button and can’t exit the keyboard.

    Hi Bob,

Thanks for the feedback, I’ve worked out what the problem is – if you’re in the “name” field and don’t press the “Done” key (in the keyboard) but tap into the “Notes” field then the Done button is not being displayed in the top tool bar as it should. I’ve fixed this now and posted the update to Apple so it should be with you in a few days.

The recorder goes into auto-pause instead of record.
    Cannot record anything.
It had recorded once before then.
    Help.

    Hi Richard,

I’ll email you directly to help resolve this problem for you.

    Thanks
