    Hi Jim Jeffery,

Excellent job on Magic Staff! I know you have the skills I seek. I thought you might be interested in collaborating on a project with me.

I am the author of a guide for understanding musical instruments and their relationships to one another. It is basically a large 13” x 40” template. To use: Simply take an instrument you understand to cross-reference the correct transposition, clef and range of any instrument you don’t know. There is much more information to gain from my product… I feel this would make an excellent Ipad app.

I am looking for an Ipad developer that can take my template and add a unique sound to each instrument from an orchestra and band. The user should be able to scroll and then touch a note. The appropriate sound for that instrument should play.

Are you interested in this project? If not, would you please be so kind as to direct me to someone with the skills to pull this off.

    Sincerely,
    Tim Murphy

    Dear Mr Jeffery,

I am a writer for Evolver.fm, a music technology site syndicated to Wired, Business Insider, Huffington Post etc.

I am writing a round-up of apps that convert audio recordings into MIDI data, and would like to include your iComposer app.

Can you confirm that your app has this functionality? If so, could I please have a code to download the app for iPhone or iPad?

Please let me know if this is possible ASAP. Thanks for your help.

    Best,

    Nick Parker

    Jeffrey-
I play guitar and have been searching for a way to capture what I play and then put it into tablature form. After trying Sonuus I2m linked to various programs ,(Notion Progression, Logic Pro) and a few other options, I have to say that Magic Stave is the best at accuracy of note recognition and duration. And simple to use!! The other options constrain my playing to much. I just record my solos into garageband. If I like it, then I use my iPhone/MagicStave to record a midi version and export for viewing as tablature in Guitar Pro. It would be great just to import the midi version on my iphone/ipad to a guitar tablature program (possible?)
If you want some more feedback, please e-mail me. thanks.
